Dr. Chimbetete obtained his MBCHB degree in 1998, a Masters in Public Health from University of Zimbabwe in 2011, and a PhD in Global Health from the University of Geneva in 2020. He has over 25 years’ experience working in Public, Private and NGO health sectors in Zimbabwe. He is a passionate trainer who has trained thousands of healthcare workers in the comprehensive management of HIV infection. He has co-authored over 50 publications in peer reviewed journals. He is the Research and Training Director at Newlands Clinic in Harare and also a faculty member of the University of Zimbabwe department of global and public health.
