John joined the ISPM Cancer Research Group in November 2022 to begin his PhD in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Bern, which he completed in 2026. His research focuses on mathematical modelling to inform public health policy for cervical cancer prevention in settings with a high HIV burden.
